The Hostile Takeover is Complete

As of this morning, April 25, 2022, Twitter is poised to accept Elon Musk’s offer to buy the company for $43 Billion. Elon pledges to take a stance protecting free speech on the platform.

The company went back and forth over the last few weeks. Many argued that Musk’s move would not be in the best financial interests of the social media giant. Musk even dropped hints that he would make a “tender offer” for the company. This means privately offering shareholders personal prices for their shares.

Twitter’s board, however, decided this morning that they would accept Elon’s $54.20-per share offer. Either way, this hostile takeover is complete and is a huge win for the First Amendment.

Who’s to say what comes next? Are we ready for Donald Trump to show back up and take the world by storm with his infamous barrage of tweets? The world waits with bated breath.

  1. Great for the 1st amendment, the country and the greatest President in my lifetime Donal J Trump!

  2. He won’t but I WOULD LOVE IT if Elon Musk would provide the personal information on every censor who worked at Twitter so that, one day when REAL AMERICANS regain control of our nation, we can ship these Communists to North Korea!

  3. It’s about time that we Conservatives have a place where we can have our voice heard. This doesn’t level the playing field but it is a step in the right direction. Let’s talk RED!
