Bibi & Hamas — Only Winners in Gaza War

Israel is Winning Battles, Hamas is Winning the War.”

So ran the headline in the Jerusalem Post atop an analysis of the Gaza war, which began, “The IDF is registering great achievements in Operation Guardian of the Walls, but meanwhile the house appears to be collapsing from within.”
Hard to disagree.

Consider this New York Times commentary about Israel’s prime minister from the runner-up to the Democratic presidential nominee in the primaries of 2016 and 2020, Sen. Bernie Sanders:

“Mr. Netanyahu has cultivated an increasingly intolerant and authoritarian type of racist nationalism …(and) legitimized these forces … by bringing them into the government. … Racist mobs that attack Palestinians on the streets of Jerusalem now have representation in its Knesset.”

Sanders’ wing of the party is moving toward the Palestinian side of the conflict. “Israeli air strikes killing civilians in Gaza is an act of terrorism,” says Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.

Tweets Michigan’s Rep. Rashida Tlaib: “Israel targeting media sources is so the world can’t see Israel’s war crimes led by the apartheid-in-chief Netanyahu. It’s so the world can’t see the killing of babies, children and their parents. It’s so the world can’t see Palestinians being massacred.”

Wisconsin Rep. Mark Pocan concurs: “We cannot just condemn rockets fired by Hamas and ignore Israel’s state-sanctioned police violence against Palestinians — including unlawful evictions, violent attacks on protestors & the murder of Palestinian children … US aid should not be funding this violence.”

While Israeli attacks are killing Hamas commanders and destroying the sites from which Hamas has fired 3,000 rockets, Israel is suffering serious and intangible losses.

Palestinians in Jerusalem and on the West Bank have risen in solidarity with Arabs and Muslims in Gaza. A dozen were slain last week.

Arab citizens of Israel are daily fighting Jews in cities like Jaffa, Acre and Lod. Writes the Post: “With riots shaking all parts of Israel,” the country “is being torn apart from within.”

Beyond Gaza, Jerusalem, the West Bank and Israel, Lebanese and Jordanians are protesting on the border. In U.S. and European cities like Berlin, London, Paris and Madrid, protesters numbering in the thousands and tens of thousands are marching in solidarity with the Palestinians and condemnation of Israel as a racist and an “apartheid” regime.

Saturday’s morning attack that brought down Gaza’s 12-story tower that housed the Associated Press and Al Jazeera caused a backlash in much of Western media against Israel, which claims the building contained an Hamas intelligence center and was a legitimate target.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President Joe Biden have come out in defense of Israel's right to attack sites from which rockets are being fired into Israel. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, however, has been more muted in backing Israel's attacks on Gaza.

The GOP seems more solidly behind Israel. More than three dozen Senate Republicans last week urged Biden to "unequivocally" support Israel's right to defend itself and to "immediately" end negotiations with Iran on sanctions relief, charging Tehran with supporting terrorist activity by Hamas against Israel.
In a letter to Biden, 44 Republican senators wrote:

"Over the past couple days, Palestinian terrorists in Gaza, who are funded by Iran, have launched a series of rocket attacks into Israel. They are targeting Israeli civilians and cities, including Israel's capital Jerusalem."

Where Israel goes from here, however, is currently unclear.

President Donald Trump's Abraham Accords, in which the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan established relations with Israel, appear now to be on hold.
For, on Sunday, a statement by the 57-nation Organization of Islamic Cooperation called for an immediate halt to what it described as Israel's barbaric attacks on Gaza and blamed "systematic crimes" against the Palestinians for the fighting which has lasted for a week.

The OIC statement came after a virtual meeting in which Saudi Arabia condemned Israel's violation of the sanctity of Muslim holy sites and evictions of Palestinians from their homes in East Jerusalem.

Clearly, the principal winner from this conflict is Bibi Netanyahu, who was within days of being replaced as prime minister by an opposition coalition when fighting erupted. He is now seen by Israelis as a decisive war leader, defending the country from thousands of rockets and severely pushing the enemies firing those rockets.

As for the two-state solution to which the world has been committed for decades, that prospect seems further from reality than ever.

Having seen what Hamas is capable of and willing to do, what Israeli will be eager to enter a peace agreement with the Palestinians that would mean vacating much of the West Bank, sharing Jerusalem as the capital of both countries, and a Palestinian right of return to lands from which their families were driven in the 1948-1949 Israeli War of Independence, which Palestinians remember as the Nakba, or catastrophe.

A military truce may be at hand, but that is all it will be -- a truce before the next round of fighting.

  1. O’bidet should put ‘the squad’ & other assorted libturd-politicians in-charge of the military, the police and security…if you believe any of this nonsense, these socialist/Islamic fools are spouting, in this article…then, stand back & watch the ‘evolving-disaster’…I dare you‼️

  2. Bombing a country brings a solid response, so Palestinians should quit whining. Bibi is right, whiners should zip it.

  3. The sand nigger Omar should be flown over there, and bombed. Blow hole Joe, and the demonRATS are on the side of an enemy. Just like when the sand nigger Barry was in the WH. Funding our enemies, like Iran.

    1. I don’t think the prophecy concerns nukes. YHWH and Christ will use natural destructive things like earthquakes, volcanoes huge ice storms.

  4. This is not the end, though it is tumultuous at present. The Messiah will soon destroy the Northern Confederacy. A temporary peace will come but will only last a drop in the bucket.
Those that curse Israel will be cursed.

  5. This is crap at it’s worst. Americans by an overwhelming majority stand in support with Israel America’s steadfast ally. The present conflict with the Palestinians is actually with a very radical faction of it’s population. These fanatics do not want peace with the Israel. They want it’s total destruction. The current cabal liberal press and our administration own every bit of this war bought and paid for by OBAMA and his puppets in the White House. The wars will only continue throughout the world while Biden and his fanatics are in control of our foreign policy. Watch closely you will see a deterioration a weakening of our current armed forces just as President Trump found when he was elected. The liberal movement in our beloved nation is taking a decided step toward communism and if and only the American conservatives step up and vote to overthrow the treasonous rouges will we began to see the nation and the world at peace and prosperity on the rise once more. Until then God Bless.

  6. CORRECTION: ISRAEL did NOT drive them out in 1948 – the Arab leaders told them to leave because after they would defeat the new nation of ISRAEL they would return: well thel Arab armies lost in 1948.

  7. This is a a GLOBAL war of Good VS Evil.

On one side we have the wife beating, pedophile worshiping barbaric terrorists and criminals with a 1400 year long history of genocides, violent invasions and establishing dictatorships while contributing absolutely nothing to humanity.

On the other side we have the people who want to be free, safe and prosperous, who have contributed everything to the civilization, arts, science and culture.

The history tells us the good always wins against evil, but never without a necessary war.
The islamist plaque needs to be wiped off the planet. After that there will be thousands of years of peace, prosperity and freedoms.

  8. Let’s reduce all this to a simple question. Either Israel can survive as a sovereign nation or it must be eliminated as such. Which proposal does one support? It it is the former than one must support Israel killing those who want and work to achieve the latter. It’s just that simple. Personally I want Israel to survive as the only trustworthy partner in the Middle East to help us keep Muslim terrorists from killing our children. Any questions?

  9. Israel is not a perfect democracy, however, there are Arab members of the Knesset and Israeli Arabs throughout Israel’s military, police, and the general population. It is not Israel that begins every cycle by launching suicide bombers, assassins through the streets of Israel, targeting civilians, regardless of age and gender. It is not Israel, who begins each cycle by launching thousands of rockets and fire balloons into Israel, indiscriminately wounding and killing innocent civilians. Israel routinely allows Palestinians in dire medical circumstances to come to Israel’s best hospitals for surgeries and treatment of other ailments. The Palestinians have had numerous opportunities to sit down in good faith with Israel to bargain for a workable two-state solution. They have turned down every opportunity to help their own people. It is obvious that they enjoy playing the victims. When they decide to put on their big-boy pants and bargain in GOOD faith, then peace would be possible. Until then, Israel will continue to take the high road and the palestinians will continue to act like savages.

    1. The fighting will never stop until either the Israelis are driven out of the Middle East or the Palestinians are driven from the West Bank and Israel proper. Note that this article define a peace agreement as one that included “vacating much of the West Bank, sharing Jerusalem as the capital of both countries, and a Palestinian right of return to lands from which their families were driven in the 1948-1949 Israeli War of Independence.” Such an agreement would be suicide for the Jews. The moment Arabs got 50% +1 control of the levers of political power, they would embark on a strategy similar to what the communist-democrats in America are doing now. Pack the legislature, pack the courts, root out jewish leaders in the military, root out jewish leaders in the civilian police force, begin a massive confiscation and transfer of assets and look the other way as “equity” becomes and excuse to loot jewish owned businesses and harass and assault jewish citizens.
Concession to Hamas, just like concession to the Squad and the Bernie Bros and all the other communist democrats in america, achieves nothing but setting the new negotiating position for the next round of concessions. And the next and the next until you are stripped bare and servile, or exiled, or dead.

  10. The Palestinians were not “driven from their lands” The “land” in question was not their land to begin with. The war started by a coalition of Arab countries who were determined to wipe out Israel.
This coalition was so confident that they would overrun Israel that they not only sent their armies but left everything and sent their families behind them to occupy Israel after the takeover.
This did not happen and since the Arab countries did not want them back after they were defeated in war they were now defeated and outcast refugees. Thus the term “Palestinian” came into being and they are still trying to find their way with an ultimate goal of overthrowing Israel with the help of prominent Arab countries

  11. Peace agreement/ ceasefire just means Hamas needs to rearm and rebuild its military structure. BHL POTUS and company will fund it.
